So, for anyone keeping track ... my debt reduction shows so much progress because I decided to stop counting Alimony. It was too depressing.
Ok so it has been awhile ... life has gotten in the way of posting. That and that my work finally managed to block Vox so I can't reach this site during work hours.
Ok - So, I found a financial network over at www.ncnnetwork.com & its host No Credit Needed has a nifty Pie Chart that you see on the right to track my debt reduction progress. So, if anyone out there is reading this blog ... feel free to leave me some comments to keep me motivated in the process.
Recently I took the time to create a spreadsheet with all of our debt listed out. While I sort of knew the balances we owed to everyone, it is rather scary to see it in writing.
Counting our Mortgage payment and what we will dish out in Alimony payments, (I know most people wouldn't consider that a debt but I do) as of October 2007 we owe a whopping $372,053.00. Our payments each month to debt total approximately 64% of our bring home pay!
So - hubby and I have agreed to work more diligently at paying off our debt. We paid off our high interested credit cards with the low interest HELOC so that we may attack that faster.
I signed us up to see Dave Ramsey live in ATL next week. Hopefully that will give us some tactics to speed up this process along with the motivation to make it happen.
I will try and find a simple way to track our progress here for those of you who are interested.

Ok ... so anyone who knows me will tell you that Pink is definitely not one of my favorite colors. But I figured it is for a good cause, so for the entire month of October this blog will be pink.

We are gearing up for another trip to PA. Pittsburgh this time. At least we are giving ourselves some extra days so that we won't be quite so exhausted at the conclusion of our trip.
I think this will be our last trip this year. I am so tired. I would love do be able to spend 2 weeks locked in my house with no phones, no commitments. Of course then I would need to spend the entire time cleaning. My house is beyond filthy because we are on the go so much.
Well, maybe soon things will slow down
When did time speed up so much?? While my days sometimes feel like the drag on ... the weeks, months, & years are speeding past at such an alarming rate.
I really have no accurate sense of time anymore. Does that just mean I am getting old?
